I have a similar, glass on an outside table (although, no hand balancing it) to help generate reflections. I am as conflicted as you describe in this poem, and keep telling myself that together we will make it through these vastly challenging times. Outstanding job penning this sincere and heartfelt poem. Trust me, Satan has tried to place fear in me, but I always call on the powerful name of Jesus to give me peace. I pray day and night and in-between for God to bring about a healing upon the land. Find your quite place and allow God to give you peace. Thanks for sharing an amazing read.

A beautifully written offering, Dawn, with your lovely rhythm that can be soothing as the words... but I hear your distress and know the faith is in there, too. Wish I could reassure from afar, but I know it's impossible with words on a page after so much media inundation... I think we do have a chance to make this a better world once we come through this crisis, but I do fear that people will quickly forget and nothing will change. This was a really well written piece and I enjoyed reading it.

This reminded me a little of Asaph's prayer and confusion in Psalm 73, when he sees the wickedness all around him, and the angst that fills his mind, but then, as he prayers the answers come. Beautifully written dear Dawn, find a mountain top, a place of peace, somewhere in your mind. You've given me several answers myself. Well done, blessings, Roy
