Reading this story I cried, you convey so many wonderful memories and you share how important is to be there for each other and to trust the other person unconditionally. I really like this part it's a rainbow of greatness and hope :"I am mad at you though, because when you left, you kept my heart Heather Marie; but I'll see you sooner than later at the Waffle House in Heaven and yes, it's open 24 hours a day but there's no smoking in the parking lot, my beautiful lady."

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. They are greatly appreciated, and I?m glad you captured the essence of my short letter to the love of my life. That letter was read at her funeral by her pastor because I couldn?t have read it and made it through without bawling my eyes out. Thanks again Mike.

This is so sad. Yes, there are special people in our lives that come and go as if they are ghosts, not that she was a ghost, but it feels like it. Fortunately I have a wife just like Heather Marie, a wonderful wife, mother and grand mum, beautifully written my friend, so sorry. Well done, blessings. Roy

This is so sad. Yes, there are special people in our lives that come and go as if they are ghosts, not that she was a ghost, but it feels like it.
