I've never had any luck with umbrellas. Mine have always just twisted inside out and broke. When I started walking to work we bought me one but one of the first times I used it it broke. I gave up. I now have a good rain coat and rain boots. Sometimes it's just better to be at home with Teddy.

When I was a child I though like a child and spoke like a child, and that child never left me, Sally. :) It is that child that can play in the rain and then run to the house because teddy called. Good offering for the child in all of us.

Teddy can mean so many things to so many people. I also love your photo of two teddies on a park bench. Your poem is simple, yet really gets a person thinking on a more complicated level. I love it, Sally.
