I am glad you were inspired by the Club's prompt and eye-catching picture. I enjoyed your story about a literal "inferno of love". We experienced nothing so dramatic, but are still married after forty-eight years! Big smiles- Joan

Dear Joan,
First thank you for the wonderful review of my heated kiss. (My knee constantly hit the lighter in my then boyfriend and now husband's 1967 Mustang.) Second, it's so great to have in my fan base! Yaay!!
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal xoxo

I never thought about the danger of a car lighter. Have a productive rest of the week- Joan

LOVE IT! This is so different from what you usually write. I just chuckled.
I, like you mentioned, am so far behind with OTHER stuff, that I haven't even written anything, except pieces coming up WAY down the road. THIS is as cute as can be. "An inferno of love, literally" AWESOME!
Hugs!

Very good satirical poem. It almost sounds like something that may have happened. With the art and the song, and the poem, you have created a good presentation.

You club response is great, Sally. You express your thoughts/feelings well in a short poem--'nuff said about true love--it's either there or not. The image is hilarious knowing today about social media what wasn't apparent then probably. Congratulations on your sweet marriage with your true love. Respectfully, Jan

What a rollicking fun write. If you truly found your love on a dating site, I applaud you both. There are a lot of horror stories but yours couldn't be more fun lol. Good entry for the contest.

This is a well-written and funny poem. It sounds romantic, yet a disaster is going on at the same time. That is how life works. Perfect satire.
Great job! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

I smiled when I read about your knee hitting the cigarette lighter. Oh the memories that aren't so perfect but end up being the best ones. I'm glad you found your special someone. :)

Thank you, dear Megan. It is a fun memory though embellished a bit. My knee really did not the lighter this turning on the lighter. I'm tall and would not be the first or last time I did that.

When you're hot you're hot, Sally. :) No wonder Jackson does not leave the flame of his desire. Many years more I wish both of you with God's blessing. Thank you for the fun write.
