This is a beautiful tribute to Phyllis, and it sounds like you've written it to other people that you've lost also. I am not afraid of death at all, but I do not do well when I lose people I love. That is when I cling to God. I remember to be grateful for the good things, then I don't feel bad asking him for help when I need it. Thank you for this beautiful poem.

Absolutely, Therese. We've just lost too many people here. Thank you!

Very heartfelt wording used to describe sorrow and grieving many losses in life, and how your faith is the healer of your heart. Especially how you can keep the same feelings alive even after one has passed, they live on within you. Love that concept

This is a beautiful poem, Robyn, that you've been inspired to write in memory of Phyllis. It's so true. Through memory the person now departed lives on in one's life. Warm regards. Ulla:)))

This is a lovely tribute poem. As I've expressed to others, I believe that the souls of our loved ones come to visit us from time to time. I never think of death as an ending, just a transition. Hugs, Lou

Hello robyn corum
I liked how qutoed from Psalms 56:8 (yes with my review I used what you said in your authors Notes-----
We are told God actually collects our tears and puts them in a bottle and write them in some form of a book - He keeps them/makes a record of them! AND how you used poetic license in this piece to say He catches them in the palms of His hands. The point, I think, is the same. He cares and our tears MATTER.

This is a wonderful contribution to the tributes and expressions of grief that people have already voiced here on fanstory. That scripture has always been uppermost in mind, and forefront of my heart is that our brokenness doesn't go unnoticed, beautifully written Robyn, an excellent piece to go with superb tributes that have gone before, blessings, Roy

Nothing could say it better or with more heart, Robyn -- He shall save them and wash you clean of this world's troubles into heaven one day... for that day, will be last you ever see of tears... :) A lovely offering for our Phyllis... :) Yvette

A very well-written tribute in honor of our tears we shed the past week after we heard about Phyllis's passing. God alone knows how to heal our hearts once again when the tears dried.
