As usual, Pam, I enjoyed reading your poem to accompany your artwork. Such a nice combination. Colors in your painting and the wording in your poem work well together. Marilyn

I relished your parallel artwork and hope the series continues. Your personification of the "violets", "seeds" and "pollen" in this tanka was very effective. Big cheers- Joan

Cute way of showing the pollination of flowers, with the help of the wind and the ladybugs. We tried once to buy ladybugs and release them on our rose bushes - but they didn't stay. Too bad.

Love this piece of beauty. Ladybugs are very special to me and violets are a favorite flower--put them together and ... magic! You make fantastic imagery with the pollen clapping politely and then flying off to make more flowers. Very sweet and well-done

Your tanka is skillfully-written and delightful. Through lively use of personification, you have presented a lovely scenario in which nature's
elements regale each other.

Yep, I can see this even without your most beautiful painting. I would've pictured it differently, but I get a charge out of the two ladybirds watching this whole thing play out.
The pollen clapping politely waiting to release its scent to allure a mate is quite an inspired satori from the poet.
Great job, Pam and as always good to see you again. :)

It never ceases to amaze me, how beautiful your paintings are. Your poems complement them and tell the story. Thank you for sharing. I hope you keep up with your artwork.
