This is a very well described chapter of your story, debi. Scene setting is awesome, especially the waterfall scene. I smiled at the term "a herd of fairies." Nicely written. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,
Thank you for the encouraging comments. Yes, when I looked up what a group of fairies was called I was surprised to find it was called a "herd". I would have thought it would be something a bit more romantic or at least a bit more fanciful.

Hi debi. I thought the same thing. It's hard to think of dainty faeries flitting like a "herd" of cattle across the garden. Something more fanciful would be a better term. Marilyn
