very odd conversation to say the least, I don't think I like Plan 9, he seems like kind of a dick.I'd like to see him match wits with Ned, that would be hilarious.

I was wondering who to match up next. Ned and Plan 9. I'm on it.

The characters are well developed, but I'm not sure I understand this. Is it simply a construction to show conflict between diverse characters? The prayer reference at the end confuses me as well.

Crunchy is The Ancient Mariner. The last bit he says is the closing of that famous poem.

Interesting, bizarre and artistic. I thought at first the the personalities were consistent throughout - Mississippi with all his card lingo, Crunchy knows his naval talk even with the oxymoron of "right port," and quoting the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. But Plan 9 (yes, got the movie reference) seems to start out computer-like then he becomes eloquent quoting a hymn.

Plan 9 quotes the final stanza from Rime of the Ancient Mariner. I may switch that to Crunchy, then let Plan 9 make his final observation.

I think that would work better!

Trust an alien to know more than the earthlings. Another varied cast with an alien, a court jester, an old sailor, and a gambler. The gambler always speaks in a gambler's terms. The alien is very learned and seems to look down on the earthlings, and thinks incineration can't come soon enough. judi

My sailor was the Ancient Mariner.

The Ancient Mariner adds to the literary value. The Alien was probably aware of that. judi

This is a very well written and very cute one scene script you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and very cute dialogue. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Blessings, Teri

This is so typical of conversations on modern day talk shows, One person speaks of their particular fization, another speaks of something almost totally unrelated to the other's topic, and yet another speaks of destroying all life, and finally one speaks of life in another historical time that hey could not possibly have even existed in. Classic.

Incineration cannot come soon enough.

I have to agree with PLan 9. For this crew, anyway. Another fun piece with weirdoes just hanging out, but this time with an alien. Nice touch that he's so eager to destroy the Earth. Do aliens ever think of anything else? :)

I hear ET was nice, but he left and never came back.

This was a very informative script, quite interesting. I learned a lot today. I'd say the last survivor was very fortunate in several ways. First that she made it and secondly that she was too young to remember that horrid night. I can't even imagine the horror they went through. Your script is well-written, realistic. Your dialogue brings your characters to life.

Reminds me of Theater of the Absurd--updated for the ET Generation. The single-mindedness of Plan 9 reminds me of a lot of people these days. We seem to be fixated on our own destruction.

Interesting.

This was both informative and entertaining. I loved the character development as each took on a very specific personae in rapid fashion. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.
