Just the level of introversion that seeps out forming words

I like the relationship of the words with the encounters of challenge in the course of one's life. For example, "crawling up slippery slopes" was vividly creative and clever. As a reader, that got my attention and appreciation. Beautiful

Just love the cadence of this acrostic. Not a wasted word nor step in coming to fulmination that we enjoy each other while doing, not while being.

Another superb and insightful write. Many thanks for sharing and best of luck with the Contest Committee.

Hi JLR,
Your poem is interesting, well written, and makes great use of the acrostic format. I definitely like the beginning three lines the best. I think it was a fitting way to begin your thoughts for this piece. Great job.

Excellent writing about introversion and the choice to not engage with a certain person and their annoying personality. That can be a very good choice. Great picture of pinnacles.

I would not consider it a limit to only see a person as that which they do rather than they simply 'are'...in fact, it seems that it should be the rule rather than an opinion that we gravitate toward people with whom we relate or treat us with respect rather than 'being expected' to respect someone simply because they 'are'. :) :) A very cool acrostic offering -- I would only suggest, perhaps, popping back in there and making each of the first letters of each line (the ones that spell out your 'acrostic') bold and one size font larger. :) ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! :)

I could not agree with you more. Difficult people are hard to deal with. Sometimes we can be difficult ourselves without realizing it. I try to be, as far as it depends on me, to be a happy person. But some days, I'm guilty. Happiness certainly comes from within.

Although I enjoyed reading your poem I am a little mystified by the last line. It seems there is a very deep connotation here that is difficult for me to grasp. Yet, your allusion to difficult people, certain persona and
past relationships including slippery slopes, intrigues me. All in all, adds up to "never a dull moment".

We all get to choose our own paths through life and it is your choice to involve others drama in your life or not. I love the final line. Let's all get off our asses and do something!

Yet another wise and insightful poem from you. You put a lot of work and emotion into your poems and they turn out wonderfully. Difficult people are just that, difficult, that's for sure haha. I like the photo too.
