K, this is a great entry for the Free Verse Poetry contest.
It is written well and allows the reader to feel the turbulent swells of the ferocious ocean viewing the brave trawler fishermen caught at sea but determined to return home. This is one job I would not like to do. I would be seasick the whole time. A most enjoyable read. Good luck! ~DD

This is a very interesting story in a poem you have penned. You used great descriptive words, telling it like it is and very good imagery from the art work you chose. I would never want to try to do that. It looks too scary and dangerous! love and blessings, Teri

Hello happy grandma, Thanks for reading my friend. Seamen risk their lives every day just to feed us. Love, Kay.

After Clooney's "The Perfect Storm" and History channel's "Wicked Tuna" Americans will certainly relate to your poem. Looks like an excellent free verse entry to the contest. Cheers.

Oh my word, K, this is a terrific poem. Everything about it beautiful and the power of the sea and how small man is in comparison.

This is terrific and I wish you much great luck with the Contest Committee.

Gloria

The sea has such mighty power and can toss a small ship about and fishermen risk their lives, especially if there is a storm. I enjoyed the ride here, (Poseidon charges his trident). I liked that line, love Dolly x

This is an outstanding poem, Kace. Excellent word choices. Each wonderful stanza offers the reader a treat. "Up the mountain, down the trough" and "Poseidon laughs at the tiny dot" are just two examples. Great job. Marilyn
