Wow!
I'm glad I'm reading this in the day time, if it was night I couldn't sleep
You captured my attention from the first line to the last.
But mostly because the artwork you chose to go with your poem, which is a perfect match.
I have snow globes when shake white snow appears in it are picture of my children, grand's,now great grand-children from birth to a certain age.
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Cookie! Please vote (not necessarily for me, of course, but I find that the turnout is pretty sparse in many contests).
-
When I remember how to do it, I always vote.

That is a very interesting and creative entry for this contest. Great job of projecting the reality of the situation into the world within the snow globe.

Nice complimentary artwork. Good 5-7-5 syllable count. I enjoyed reading your poem. No edits or adjustments necessary. Good luck in the contest!!

I'd vote for you, but don't know who you are (blind). I get messages about voting booths but feel compelled to read every entry before making a selection....sometimes there are more than a dozen and I give up before starting. There needs to be another way to get voter turnout and/or give rewards based on ratings.
-
I agree about the voting. I read every entry when I enter a contest and it can be daunting. Not so bad with the 5-7-5 ones and the like.

A very well-written horror 5-7-5 poem about the bloodstained footprints inside the missing girl's snow globe to give the police a clue where to search for the poor girl.

One of the worst places I could think of being transported into (other than Hell itself) would be a Winter Wonderland snow globe. Even worse--one where a cemetery is prominently featured.
Why?
Because you're being shaken all of the time and headstones are solid granite and rock!
Not a comforting combination.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

Don't I know it!
I always vote and never for myself.
I don't feel that's ethical.
Good luck!

Nothing is more terrifying that a child being kidnapped or murdered. The snow globe is a different approach to an old fear. All one can do is hope this doesn't happen to you. Best wishes in the contest.

I certainly will try to vote. And, you're welcome.

Hey Chip, because of your suggestion I did vote in all the contests that were open. Imagine my surprise when I saw you had won. I did and do think yours was the best entry. Congratulations.

Thank you, Victor!

I'm not sure why you placed a violence warning on this, i didn't glean anything violent about it. But the way some people are, it's probably better to be safe than sorry,.Good luck in the contest.

Good point, Earl. I changed the last line and originally it contained a threat of violence. Guess I forgot to remove the warning. Given the subject matter I'll leave it in. Thanks for the review!

Ooohh! Spooky! I love it, absolutely love it. It reminds me of a possible goosebumps book. You chose a great gif for the poem and the imagery is wonderful.

Woah, Mystery Author!
How you managed to creep this reader out in a 5/7/5 poetic offering is truly commendable. But you did! That is for certain. Graphics certainly added to the ambiance of horror as well. Kudos and Best Wishes!

This horror 5-7-5, Snow Globe, has the right set up and means sadness in what seems to be a deadly vision of what has happened to the child plucked from their lives.
