A fine entry for the contest and I wish you much luck in it. No, I don't believe we can turn it around. Since the beginning it was a fight for survival and will continue always. We can only influence our own sphere and perhaps not even that, but only our own behavior. Marilyn

As I read your opening stanzas, I was reminded of John Lennon's song Imagine.
