Hi Johngie, one of my biggest complaints are these phones...
people no long talk to each other...texted...oh by the way uncle Bill passed away...I'll text you back and let you know when the wake is...HOW RUDE...people don't even look at each other when they go out to eat...the kids are on games machines...it's crazy...love your poem my sweet friend...and love your picture...very well written...love you...Linda xxoo

Johngie, I totally get this thoughtfully composed 100 word Flash Fiction story - although fact not fiction. It echoes my thoughts exactly. Can you believe there have been studies done to express how harmful device use and social media is to society, especially the young and impressionable. Seriously, was that not obvious?! I am constantly rolling my eyes and shaking my head on it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and best of luck in the competition. ~DD

This is an interesting post for the contest with some excellent insights and suggestions.
Your niece is very mature for her age.
There are many things effected by the lack of interaction in our new societies.
Wonderful picture choice, too.
