This is a great story Bill. Makes me want to check out your other stories with these characters. I wish all verbal misunderstandings could end with a friend turning up and free food!

Hello Bill
I must act a child desiring to read more of the magic of the wishing well or is it the pennies.
My what a surprise when Ned asked for peace and ended up with Peas from Eden's garden.

Smiles Bill Schott
No, thank you for eating, but maybe to stuff my old hose and stuff them with dried peas to use around the bottom of all our outside doors and drafty windows, especial in the winter. Gert

That's another cute one! You have, as you've done so often in the past, put a much-needed smile on my face, Bill. I especially like the little supernatural twist to this story. Thanks!

Thanks, Brenda. Make a wish; the boys are on a roll.

Oh if only. maybe Ned should wish for a few more active brain cells. Then again, if Ned can get results he is getting based on what he is working with, maybe he is the smartest one of the whole lot. I say, go for the gold man.

They might wish for indoor plumbing.

What a wasted wish, world peace! They're getting pretty good returns on their penny investments. A month of sundaes would be cool. Good to see Ned and Pons back. Nice job.

Okay, now you just gotta love it when "reality" makes Pons wonder if Ned actually knows what he's talking about! ;) ;) This was a really entertaining one, Sir Bill, although I must say that I particularly enjoyed the World Peas!! :) :) thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Peas!!
Comment from WryWriter
LOL! And peas is about as close as you'll come to world peace while man walks the planet. It was a nice thought, though. Hilarious!

Oh these two really make me laugh. They honestly think the wishing well works when it's just a coincidence. They don't really get what they wish for.

Ned will have a jar full of nonsense wishes.
