Beautiful sentiments, and how true! With that innocence, the smiles and carefree nature have been replaced by less quality time and communication, with others. Your poem evokes a nice memory of times gone by.

Dear Helen, your kind comments are like drops of Honey water to a parched mouth. So good to hear from you I'm glad you enjoyed this piece. I started with the first stanza about 2 weeks ago and put it off until this morning and I'm proud of myself because I got up this morning and I sat and I finished it and I was pleased with the result I hope I can bathe exactly there is one correction I'm going to make I'm going to put the word once into the status of that says once you saw through eyes that were Boulder. Thanks Liz. As the new year starts and I turn over a new Leaf I will be riding a lot more. I will be trying to post two things a day, I'll be concentrating on haikus and I have a lot more to write in my biographical chapters about what has happened since I lived at Northside recovery.
