Lol. Poor Ned. Or should I say, Poor Pons who so patiently puts up with Ned. I guess we should all be a kind Pons to our fellow Neds. A very Happy New Year to you and yours, Bill!!

Ned may get smarter in the new year.
Comment from Dean Kuch
Hahaha,
Hey, Bill. Merry Christmas to you & yours.
I hope everyone who is familiar with Ned & Pons' characters realizes that Ned is a hopeless cause.
The sad part about this script is that we have a LOT of folks around these parts that act and think just like good old Ned.
Good stuff.
Thanks for the laugh.

I would say Ned and Ponz are brave to put up with the crowd at the Time Square celebration. I don't think I'd endure it. I've read about how carefully the people are screened before they're admitted. I suppose it would be special to see the ball drop at midnight. Of course Pons has to explain a lot of things to Ned. Not quite sure where you're going with these short skits. I suppose they're kind of similar to what Abbott and Costello did many years ago. Maybe nightclub comedians are doing this kind of thing. judi

lol lol Bill, This is just too cute and funny. I can see those two saying those things on New Years. You used very cute words and very good imagery with your words. Thanks for the laugh my friend! Blessings, Teri

Wait a minte. before I was introduced to Ned I always thought that a person got progressively smarter as time went by and they were exposed to things that increased their knowledge. In Ned's case it appears that he is getting progressively dumber. Wow!

Now you know better. Ned?s brain cells are like soggy corn flakes.

LOL! Good one. Some words confuse poor Pons, like... year, month, ball, here, and there for a start. But I can relate, being constantly confused myself.
I wonder why all those people immerse themselves in a crowd just to see the new year begin. You can do the same thing at home with an alarm clock. Rrrringggg! Happy New Year.

Are you writing all these scripts for the Bill Schotter Christmas special skits? I think Ned and Pons are two pretty good characters with Pons as the straight man. Nice job. Merry Christmas.

Hahahaha. Poor Ned. He does get in a dither, doesn't he? I like the way he figures the days of the year. Makes sense to me. LOL. Oh, dear, what does that say about me.

Another classic moment of Ned and Pons experiencing life together. It's like "Of Mice and Men" except not depressing. Really nice work, Mr. Schott. I thoroughly enjoy reading your play scripts. You're very talented.

I love these guys - your sense of humor delights me. Poor Pons, but at least he has Ned to enlighten him, sortta...I think the music plays, but Pons is always out of step. I always look forward to these simple stories. Think Pons is still there, looking up??

Ned is actually the idiot. Pons would have to take him home.
