This is a great poem. I love the theme of this poem! I can definitely connect with this concept as we travel through this game of life. I call myself "the silent rebel". I confirm when I must, but would much rather go against the grain. Normal is boring! Thank you for this enjoyable read!

Who ever came up with read between the lines? Maybe some spy guy. You know a coded message that can only be read with a specific contact lens. I get it. Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done. I was a teacher and used to say that. I do not think I explained it well to students in looking back. This is an awesome poem, unique and informative. I am out of sixes or would have def done six stars on it simply because it shouted out to me. Great job and good luck!

I gave you six stars because as a teacher, I tell my students to draw conclusions and to read between the lines, haha, but your last line is so true; sometimes, between the lines, there are just blank spaces. I'm going to show this poem to my students and let's see what conversation that sparks.

I think its a witty take on that age old saying. You have a nice free verse format here, open ended and light and airy in mood. And you have us looking in between the lines at those blank spaces; there is a feeling of the floor dropping out from under you, the meaning dropping away and leaving you in mid air. Nice job with form and style estory
