This is Trump, right? Just checking. Sometimes I can be dense or, heaven forbid, naive. What am I saying? Vitriolic slurs absolutely has to be Trump.

You call for an armistice for his rants on Armistice Day. That is clever of you. I don't know why he can't hold his tongue for a day.

Not happening though.

Once again, Trump is a shining example, though this wasn't specifically aimed just at him. It's actually about all of us, or today's society as a whole. We seem to spend so much time beating each other up (and I'll accept my own entrapment in this wide net I've cast). It's a precarious balancing act, I think, because there is so much stupidity being put out there that poses a genuine threat to democracy worldwide. And yet, sometimes the reaction to this extremism is almost as bad. How do we find a balance where we can just manage to get along? It seems impossible, yet go back less than a decade, and we seemed, for the most part, to manage it.

And yes, an armistice from the orange one's rants for one day would be like heaven -- and, I suspect, just as unlikely :)

    Cheers,
    Craig

What an awesome response. So true.

I have never heard him called the orange one. Fascinating.

Okay, but not for long. I just got a new gun and I am dying to use it. You should pass the book info to Lyenochka. I don't know why, but she writes word definitions and is ranked third in Novels???

Yes, I too have a novel ranking... currently standing at 40; which is odd, since I've never written a novel. My longest short story would be around the couple of thousand word mark, and I haven't written one of those in months. Still, I very much enjoy what Lyenochka does with her short pieces. She certainly has a gift for languages.

Hooray! :) ;) Please offer this lovely write with autumn leaves and pumpkin pie for the nearing holiday, a bright blue and white for the next, and a lovely red with green with read bow for the end of the year!! :) ;) Thanx for sharing your 'white dove' of the seasonal feast -- all word wars can continue after the feast and celebration is done! :) ;) Yvette :)

LOL sounds like a good plan to me -- though I probably won't last that long ;-)

    Thanks so much, Yvette :)

Very cute, CD. I appreciate the jovial tone and rhetoric you are using and the new word too. You are very clever and offer an olive branch to the enemy for this short duration. Fun, and entertaining. Have a great day. Melissa
