Darn it, I wish I had a six. so many good writes on here tonight worthy of a SIX! You'd get one, if I had one! So very poignant and profound. Yes, stepping stones. that is a perfect analogy, Pam. The work you're doing on Family Search is like laying those stepping stones for generations to come... you are an active participant. Your image is so very precious. I wish I could get one of your originals. I wanna be able to say I knew you when, before you were famous :)

    I have some originals left. Blue and White Flowers is one and Floral Arrangements is another. Finally have my painting room back. I don?t expect you to remember their names. I can tell you which ones I have. But don?t do it unless you want to. I could email them

Lovely, lovely sentiment here, Pam! Just beautiful, both the artwork and the poem! Love the idea that we are from our ancestors, and that we sort of stand on their shoulders, moving onward and upward! Thanks for sharing!

Interesting way to depict it with words and visually. I guess our ancestors do make a path for us and how they lived offer us direction on how we can live. Great job and great choice of color in the painting.

These are very profound words: stepping stones
left behind by our ancestors for us to follow.

My DNA test showed that I had some Polynesian
blood in my veins - which explains my love of the
sea and adventure.

Can;t deny those genes - and stepping stones!

Yes, the flow is good here as you r words give imagery of people then and now. Stepping stones is a good example as we are that in individual families and forward. Really nice art.
