This is another cute addition to your story. Very well-written from the dogs POV. I bet it would be exciting seeing leaves for the first time. I can only imagine what they'll think about the snow.

Yes cats, dogs, and children know how joyful life can be, and the long legged humans could learn a thing or two about enjoying one'self. Beautfully written Patty great descriptive, and imagery, creatively written and communicated, good job, blessings, Roy

    Hi, Roy,

Howie and Bernie have had a wonderful few days. I haven't gotten much else done, but the leaves are/were raked,

One never outgrows the joys of playing in a leaf pile. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a colorful read. There is very good imagery.

    Hi, Charlie,

I had so much fun watching them play in the leaves yesterday and today. I haven't gotten much else done, but the leaves have been raked two or three times,

What fun! We used to have leaves falling in their doggy yard, which is fenced, but the tree died years ago. Now they have to wait for the snow to have fun. And being Tibetan dogs, they REALLY loved snow. I only have one of three doggies left now. They live about 15 years, and Lexy has just turned 15. She's slowing down, but still healthy. :)

    Hi, Phyllis,

Watching Howie and Bernie and raking the leaves is a full-time job. I haven't gotten much done in the past few days, (well, the leaves were raked two or three times,) but I am having too much fun,

Fun times for little dogs and a sweet children's story. Lots of pictures, like a picture book for kids. Even adults enjoy this time of year. So many lovely sights, and the weather is perfect for fall chores. I enjoyed the story.

Too bad you couldn't get that on video. What a pair. I miss having a dog for the same reason, watching them roll in the leaves. Your descriptions of their antics was clear and vivid.

    Hi, Yvonne,

The dogs are so mean when it comes to getting pictures. If they see the camera, they will come running right up to me and I can't get the pics I want.

Your stories of the adventures of Bernie and Howie are always a good read. I enjoyed it a great deal. It is always fun watching our pets as the romp around in the year.

Hi Patty, so gathered a lot of leaves together and they had so much fun burying themselves in them. Although Bernie was a little apprehensive at first. A great little story. All the best. Ulla:)))

Cool, another Howie and Bernie story.I wasn't aware dogs noticed leaves, mine don't. The graphics didn't come through so I didn't get to see them. Can't wait to read more adventures of those two rascals. Nice Job!

    Hi, Earl,

Howie and Bernie are sometimes like cats in little dog suits. They chase laser dots, leaves, and anything that scuttles - including spiders.

We have too much fun - glad you enjoyed the story,

Bet this was a sight to behold not only for the dog but their mistress to watching them romp and play so active. Yep, it is fall and soon to be winter.

    Hi there,

Watching my two little fur babies play in the leaves was a great way to spend the afternoon on Sunday and most of the morning today -- though, I didn't get much else done.

Thank you so much for the R&R,
