This is priceless. Precious poem about a precious dog named Bernie. I get lost in the rules to all the many styles of poetry. I even took Brookes class, and flunked. She denied it, but believe me I flunked. I got the rhyme scheme but you lost me on the meter. However, I believe you id just fine with it. I wish you all the best in this contest too.

Enjoyed the poem and tribute to Bernie. Another form of poetry I will add to my list. Only pet owners, especially dog owners can appreciate what a dog brings to out lives. To a dog, everyday is Christmas.

Very cute, and cute pic, too. I know the feeling. Lexy wakes me up (too early) with kisses, and Mark isn't even jealous. As soon as I go to bed, she jumps up and snuggles at my side...has to be touching me, even when it's a hot July night. Then she makes me pet her. She's such a slave master. :)
