I thank you for posting this work. It is an interesting project, to bring a scholar in one language to a wider audience in another: I wish you well with this. Thank you for the notes. Without meaning any disrespect, you may be better advised to use the variant 'pandit' rather than 'pundit', as pundit has a broader western meaning, or perhaps elaborate on your intended meaning in your notes? I do feel teh last line of Stanza I should read "And blow away..." rather than 'blows', but this is a small point.
I will try to read more of your project and I wish you well with your further writing.

Thanks for pointing out the error. I wasn't sure about 'Pandit' and Pundit. Spell check did not like Pandit -the original word of the poem in Hindi. I thought the 'blows' away relates to the one who is the doer of blowing act; like the 'thresher blows away the husks. I will revisit the poem. Kabir was born in a Muslim family in India in the fifteenth century and wrote mystic poetry that covered both the native religions Hinduism and Islam. I love his short poems and have translated them in English from Hindi and one that was translated in French, I translated in English because I could not locate the original. Thank you Anastasia. I am glad you like the translation. Credit goes to the original thoughts of this 15th century Mystic poet-Kabir a weaver by profession. I have translated few of his poems and they are in my Portfolio in the book titled,"Random Reflections." Do read them and other poems. All the best. -Arun
