This is a beautiful poem and image, I hope the wait isn't too long. Love is truly what makes the world go round, I've been lucky in my own life to have found it when I was very young. I love the sentiment of this well written contest entry, thank you for sharing.

HELLO KAHPOT: Guy to guy. I'd spent a lot of my life waiting for what my friend in your poem is waiting for, my brother. Finally, motivated by compelling persuasion...through a woman, who gave me a "Band Of Gold,"...her love, and her heart... I found a way to end my waiting...when I realized that love was waiting for my heart to take it away...and give love a place in my heart to stay. I invited love to dwell in my heart forever. Love accepted my offer, and moved in. And now...my hardest work concerning the matter is done. No more waiting. Cordially: rhonnie69.

That's a sound plan for your heart, well put. Yes, patiently keep it in your chest and in the game. That's the best place for it, even after you find your true love, given all the other work it has to do.
