LOL Unfornutatly, Harley doesn't like his baths. He takes them but his body language says, "I hate this." LOL I know I would love Bernie. He's my type of dog. Thank you for sharing.

Dog tails are always fun to read, and you came up with a very clever one. I definitely can imagine my dog rolling around a compost pile, it's the bath mine would run away from though. You got a smart dog there.

Ha ha ha, he rolled in the compost?! My dogs would SO do that exact thing, if they could get to our compost. We have it in a box. I must say though, none of my dogs like baths at all. Kind of funny. Dillon, my oldtimer, got his bath a couple of days ago and he let me do it but wasn't happy. Very nice, entertaining story told from the perspective of your cute buddy. Just what I was in the mood for :))

We really need to put a raised box up for the compost heap. This is our first spring in this house, and I guess the previous owners didn't have dogs. Howie and Bernie LOVE the fenced yard, but I didn't think about the pile until it was too late.

Good story!

My kitten used to do cuddle up on the back of the couch; now I think he is getting too big for it. He must be a Norwegian Forest Cat -- all the characteristics except the tufts on the tips of the ears. :P

Oh my, the compost pile. Ugh! What a smart little dog! :P I love the thoughts of both dogs.
