Great bit of the story here with the boy meeting his father He was very calm about it all as he feels comfortable with Joe and Rosie.

Thank you so much, my friend. Yes, I don't think he would have wanted to leave his adopted family. But, getting to know his father slowly will be good for them both. (I find myself talking about them as if they are real now!! LOL) Big hugs, Joanne! :) Sandra xxx

I'm a true sucker for happy stories, or at least stories with a few happy parts. All the trials and tribulations make the happier moments that much more happy. Thanks for sharing. :-)

Thank you so much, Ric. It's coming to an end now, two parts left to go. Then I'll have to work on the plot for the next in this series. :) I can't let them go, lol. Thanks for being so supportive, my friend. Big hugs. Sandra xx

It's wonderful that Francis met his real father Jacob. Good to know everything had worked out so well. Francis had all the love and the family was living a much better life than before they moved. Great job tying up all the loose ends for a happy ending for them. Now I bet the Powers that be are going to have a meeting with Val. Right?

LOL, things are already in progress, the final two parts will be coming over the next few days. I had to let everyone know how the meeting went off, and so far everyone's been pleased. Thank you, Nancy, for your lovely review. Sending you a great big hug. xxxx Sandra xx

This is another chapter that definitely deserved a six, Sandra. And I'm out, this late in the week. Tom should let us have at ten sixes, I think.

It's great that Veronica had another chance to bo back in time, and to see Francis and Jacob reunited. Delightfully, the boy remains with Rosie and Joe.

So Gwendolyn now has white hair and blue eyes? But a bigger concern is that Veronica worries about Mildred - one of my all time fav character. I'm worried too and can't wait for the next great chapter.

Your review is my 6, Aki, thank you so very much. Veronica remembered Gwendolyn having white hair and pale blue eyes the first time she met her just before she died. And after as a ghost, but didn't twig she might be an albino. They are not all born with red eyes, so if she was, her family wouldn't have known. Mildred is a worry for Veronica, I think it's because she loves her like she did her mother. Final revelations over the next two parts, which is the end of this book, and they will be posted over the next few days. Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xxxx

What a fantastic chapter Sandra. It was so great that Veronica once again traveled back in time, even though she actually went ahead from where she had normally been going. It was indeed a joy for her to be able to see Francis and Jacob reunited and very wise of Jacob to leave the boy with Rosie and Joe. I liked that slight twist when you mentioned Gwendolyn having white hair and blue eyes and making Veronica wonder. Back in the present time she is concerned regarding Mildred and rightly so. It will be nice to tell her that Joe has become successful because of her. Great chapter, very well done, thanks for sharing. (smiles to a friend.)

Thank you, Alie, for this incredible review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the meeting of father and son. It was a difficult scene to write. I couldn't over do it, or under do it. So I'm doubly pleased that you liked it! Two part to go and you will have all the answers... just about! lol. Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xxxx

You are so welcome Sandra and I have decided you are also a definite tease lol, 'just about' all the answers. You do a great job of keeping the suspense at a great level, enticing the readers along. Lots of hugs and smiles, my friend.

Hi, Sandra;
It was so lovely to see the meeting between Jacob and his son. I'm glad that the 'powers that be,' allowed Veronica to experience that meeting. I am looking forward to the rest of this one -- I didn't see any nits or SPAG.

HI Sandra, I be so appy everything turned out so well...it feels so strange to already be ten years ahead...and I loved that Jacob...and Francis...looked so much a lot...and he look like the Gwendolyn...sigh...this was a great chapter sweet angel...but I'm not so sure they are that happy when she gets back to her home...the last time she showed up...Mildred was flat on her back on the floor...and this time Michael ends up falling on his face...next time she goes and comes back...they'll have moved...no forwarding address...LOL...so very well written sweet girl...and I so love the story told...always you...and the picture is precious...love you much my sweet friend...Linda xxoo

I hope things are still getting better for Ian...say hi for me...xxoo love

Mom went to the doctor...they said she was congested and gave her some meds....now at my brothers house...my mother never goes up the stairs to the top floor...the bedrooms are for my brothers kids...and my mothers grandkids...that night my niece woke up to my mother standing in her room...she had climbed the steep stairs...when my niece ask her...Granna what are you doing???...why are you up here???...she said...this blue man downstairs told her to go upstairs...mind you...my brothers room is in arms reach of my mothers room downstairs...so my brother got hold of the doctor to see if the meds they gave her could do that...they said she is on so many meds...you never know...so they changed them...otherwise...it's one day at a time...she does seem to be a bet more cheerful on some days...I told my brother...yeah!!!...the pills they give her to help her sleep... she's stoned...but if they don't give her something...she stays up thinking about dad...what can ya do!!!!...one day at a time...love you girl...xxxxooo

It's still early days, my dear friend. Of course she is going to sit thinking of your dad, it's probably the biggest emotional upset she has ever had to deal with. Her other half is missing. All you can do is be there for her, and offer as much comfort and love as you can. (I know you have plenty of that) I'm not going to tell you she will get over it, she probably won't. She is at that age when one of you go and the other is left to wait their turn. Like my mother. It's heartbreaking to watch them and know you can't do anything to help. I'll pray for your mother and you my friend.

Ian is still in hospital, they have taken his insulin away and giving it to him themselves. The only thing is, they aren't doing it properly and he collapsed into a diabetic coma yesterday. That put the wind up them. But they still won't let him do it himself. He knows better than they do when he needs it. He's been doing it for 50 years!

Thank you my dear friend, for your lovely review and all the stars. I know you have a lot on your mind so I really appreciate you taking your time and reviewing this one. Love you lots, my dear friend. xxx

HI Sandra, I am so sorry that happen to Ian...they need to let him take his insulin...he knows his own body...I hate when these hospitals and doctors think they know more then you...I would have told them...if anything happens to my brother because of his insulin...you'll wish it hadn't...God Bless him...and say hi for me....xxoo love

mom was doing better today...we are doing the best we can for her...but like you said...half of her is gone now...I just wish I could take the pain away...but she still stays close to him in her heart...sigh...

you are always so welcome my wonderful sweet friend...and yes!!!...we both have so much on our plates right now...please take care...and know you are always in my thoughts...love you dearly...Linda xxoo

What a lovely possible conclusion, what would be good was to see some descendants of Joe and Rosie, Francis, Davith and Elowen in the modern age, and, of course, the chocolate factory. I'm a sucker for turning fiction into fact, particularly if it's a story I'm enjoying as your is dear Sandra. Well done great episode.blessjngs, Roy

Hmm, that's a good idea, Roy! We might see Joe and Rosie's or Francis' descendants in the next book, at least make a cameo appearance. .You never know how things can go in the future. Thank you so very much for your lovely review, my dear friend. Big hugs. Sandra xxxxx
