There is a mystery to sctiptvwriting, for me. Utilizing essentially onecscene of dialogue to give a complete picture...but doggone it you do it! Kind of reminds me of the little skits on Jackie Gleason.

Fumny!

Hahahahaha, Bill. Wonderful, and what an imagination you've got. I think Pons was right in his assessment to get Ned out of that chair before it was too late. A great write. All the best. Ulla:))

I think the most amazing part of the scene might be having the opportunity to use phallusies in a sentence. How often does one mistake unrelated objects for a penis? I hope it's not often, because that could lead to most unfortunate results.
Like all your Pons and Ned scripts, it's very entertaining!

This is similar to some of the skits done by Abbott and Costello. A lot of the radio comedians depended on misuse of language for their humor. This dentist is really something else. He reminds me of Trump's personal physician. Great references to his age and his acquaintance with Benjamin Franklin. This really leaves Ned with his dental issues unresolved. Great touch with the dentist's advice to remember the Maine and brush twice a year. judi

Hi Bill,
What a fine scene you have developed here.
the dentist chair always puts me on edge--the stuff of nightmares for me.
I found sympathy for Ned right away. Lol.
I felt that frisson of fear when you lose confidence in your dentist.
Well done-touched a nerve with me. Lol.
:-) Shirley

Thank you, Shirley. This guy reminds me of my dentist except for everything I said.

Thank God you got Ned out of there. It's bad enough to have to see a dentist in the first place, but it's even worse when the dentist is a nearly blind crackpot. Letum' all fall out and get some falsies.

I agree... Dr. Dennis is definitely not sane. Neither is the author from whose warped brain this story came. But I love it just the same. It was fun to have a third person in the story this time. Dr. Dennis was the perfect choice. :)

Well done Bill, I enjoyed this additional adventure of the half-witted pals Pons and Ned, who struggle a little with the Queen's English, mind you, put two halfs together and you've got a whole. This script in the dental surgery is hilarious, the Humpwhistlian nature of the dialogue is priceless, and the quick wit of the dentist is great, well done, blessings, Roy

Ned is my favorite character but all 3 of them were rich within themselves in some sort of was, I'm imagining the Doctor is a vampire, am I right? Good work

Thanks, Phillip, for the great review. I may have to do a third scene to answer that question. Bill
