Hurray! Everything has worked out so well.

I hate to see it over even though Francis will have a wonderful life with Joe and Rosie and their family. I was afraid John would double-cross them before it was over.

Thank you so very much for those lovely 6 stars, Yvonne! Two more parts to go, the next will be posted this afternoon, UK time. and the final one on Tuesday. The last part leads me into the third book in the trilogy. I hope you'll join me? Big hugs, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I've missed you, have you been on holiday, or have you been poorly? xxxx

I'm sorry. I thought you knew. I posted it in the profile thoughts. My mother was ill and then passed away on May 4.

Of course, I will join you in the next book. This one's been great!

Oh, Yvonne, I am so very sorry! I didn't know. My brother has been in intensive care (out now) so I haven't been on as much as usual. I am really sorry. Having lost my mum four years ago, I know how hard it is. I wish I could give you a hug. Take care, dear friend. xxxxx

Thank you, Sandra. Just knowing you are there and care for me is wonderful. I'm so glad to hear your brother is out of intensive care. Life is certainly giving us some surprises, isn't it? Take care of yourself.

All this time traveling has to be a bit disorienting and unnerving, but Veronica seems to be dealing with it quite well--better than I would.
You bring your characters to life with excellent dialogue, syntax, descriptions and your wonderful narrative voice.

Nice summation of the events here and of course reader is glad to see Mildred home. Guess it was good to go back and see things going as planned.

Thank you, Joanne. Yes, it wouldn't have been right not to have known what happened after she came home. But just 4 more parts to wrap this one up and all the questions will be answered. Thank you for all your support, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

You described much of Mildred's character in the opening two lines. I like it, and she sounds like a strong, independent woman.

UK English is the best, isn't it? What a delight to read, so clear, advances at a perfect pace, and I did not see one single typo.

Excellent story, Sandra.

Gloria

Thank you so much for reading this part, Gloria, that was so nice of you. Mildred started out in the first book as just a maid who didn't really have much of a part in the story, but she grew so much and the reviewers loved her. I couldn't leave her out! I'm really pleased you liked her. Thanks again, Gloria. :) Sandra xxx

I have a question. Mildred. From the way you describe her she's a black southern woman. Correct? But the kids call her Nana. I just wanted to ask bc I wasn't't sure if I was 'seeing' her correctly. Ty ( sorry).

I LOVE the part where Daveth try's to give a ghost a hug. That was perfect. You would 'forget' she is a ghost after all they've been through together.

Aww man...I have to confess I'm sad the story has ended. I mean it has to at some point, right? :-D I truly and honestly enjoyed this story SO much. I looked forward to your post in my mail box. I hope you have something new you're working on bc I have the 'feeling' you get when you finish a good book. Bittersweet. Loved the story but sad that the adventure you'd been on is over.

Bravo and well done! *clap *clap *clap.

Thank you so very much for another lovely review, Rebecca, and another galaxy of stars! No, Mildred is a white, Cornish lady, (Cornwall, English). The dialect is exactly like that, even today. In her time, young girls went into 'service' for the wealthy. Mildred started at the Manor and was sent to the cottage to be with Mrs Humphries as a 13 year old. (My mother did for a while, and then joined the WRENS in the war. 'Nana' is an affectionate term in the UK meaning 'Grandmother'. A Nanny' is a lady employed to live in and look after the children of the wealthy. (You have to be to be able to afford one)

This is not quite the end, there are 4 more parts which will tie up a couple more things and ending with the lead-up to the final book in the trilogy. I'll be posting the next part tomorrow evening (in the UK) Biggest hugs, my friend, you've been a brilliant fan of this story, and I've appreciated all of your reviews. Sandra :)) xxx

OH YAY! More chapters to come. I wasn't sure and didn't want to assume. WOO HOO! :-)

Thank you for clarifying about Mildred. Here in America she 'sounded' like the same type of lady there but black. Endearing character and enjoyed her very much. SO excited to read more. :-)

Another great chapter, Sandra. Thank goodness Mildred is okay! This feels like an ending, but I'm sure it's not, and Veronica will be off again soon. At least she isn't missing out on her family life - something you bring to life beautifully in your writing.
Looking forward to the next chapter!

Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, and fantastic review, Alexis! You're right, it's not quite the end, 4 parts to go, and then the big edit and the plot worked out properly for the final book in the trilogy. You've been wonderfully supportive throughout, and I've really appreciated it. Thank you, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Hi, Sandra;
I think I've missed a few chapters in my absence, but I loved this part. It seems as if things are wrapped up -- but I didn't see 'the end,' so will we get to see more of what is happening? Or will Veronica take us somewhere else now?

Thank you for sharing this wondrous story,

~patty~

Oh lordy, Miss Sandra, what will I do without my weekly visits with Veronica and Mildred?

What a lovely ending for our group of friends.

I have to wonder if this is really the end of time travelling for Veronica? I seem to recall mention of a third installment? Maybe it'll be Mildred travelling next time! That'd be fun. :-)

LOL, Mildred and Co, are here for 4 more parts. And then the big edit starts. Yes, there is a 3rd, it's the last one of the Trilogy. I'll be starting it a couple of weeks or so, later. The Powers that be haven't finished with Veronica yet. Thank you so much, Sue, for the lovely 6 stars, and the fun review. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx
