Smart bird! Better hang onto him. He could bring you a fortune. New York Times puzzles and Sudoku? Amazing.

He looks huge in the picture, so I'm on his side, whatever he does. lol

Your parakeet sounds pretty neat, but does he have clay feet? This is a feat that has brought down many a leader. Question, does two keet make a pair a keet? if not haw can one keet be a pair a keet? I'm confused.

Is a Flaming-O a bird, or something lions jump through?

Ha, ha. Maybe parakeets aren't the birdbrains we think they are. Not yours, anyway, if he/she can do all these things--sudoku??? Wow. Smart bird. Your poem is amusing and clever. Marilyn

Birds Matter. Jonathan Franzen wrote all about it in the "National Geographic." This poem is clever and starts off with clever rhyme. This parakeet is almost the equal of Inspector Morse, loving to do crossword puzzles. I like crossword puzzles but wouldn't attempt those in the New York Times, and I wouldn't attempt the Sudoku. Given the state of affairs we're in right now, I feel like trembling along with Pete the Parakeet. judi

This is a very cute parakeet poem you have penned about Pete the parakeet. That bird sounds smarter than most humans do! lol You used very good words. I did not see the art work. Blessings, Teri

Is this a nonet Bill? A very clever one and it should be in a contest. I like to see a Parakeet finish a word puzzle and sing in bars! I am sure Pete would sing better than many humans! Love Dolly x

Parakeets are real smart A&^-es huh? Always bragging and getting their beaks into all your favorite hobbies...... IT's enough to think about having him for dinner! OH stop! I'm just kidding.... But then again... NO! So let him have the
Karaoke gig...it seems singing would be up his alley! (chuckle)

Lol. Somehow I would have expected that more from an African Grey parrot not a parakeet. But sure, why not? Sounds like a fun feathered companion to have!
