I loved this little poem with the beautiful picture. "Summer Serenade" is written with the corect number of syllables for the contest. I have a nest of swallows on my verandah.

I enjoyed reading your well-written, meaningful poem. It flows with the good alliteration of s letters and sounds and I like your message and artwork choice.

Very pleasant and cheerful early-summer poem! When do the swallows arrive where you are? In April? or later? Anyway, nice writing, nice picture to go with it.

What a wonderful sight those first swallows of the summer are! One really has the sense of balmy evenings again. I think that we particularly welcome them because they return like old friends to the same nesting places year by year.

This speaks the mystic composition of music as if the swallow in summer serenade is in finer participation and playing the music and welcoming the listeners around with the bidding bye to blackbird; well said, well done. DR ALCREATOR
