"Your face ... so funny!" she said, and within seconds I was laughing, too--until we were brought back to reality when we saw Sir John's hand on the latch of the attic door...So well written as always Sandra. You make prose seem so easy and it reads so smoothly. I love it. Well done once more kindest regards Meia x

High fives to Rosie, she sure is a determined lady and it was definitely positive that she stood up to Sir John. The fact that Gwendolyn likes her is a great bonus. It must be hard on her that she has to deal with the fact that she has died and leaves behind Frances and now faces sending him away. She indeed has to like and trust those taking him. You provided great descriptions of what was happening at each step and the details were amazing. Thanks so much for sharing Sandra, it was well done and enjoyed.

Thank you, Diana, for this lovely review. Yes, Rosie seems to have captured all the readers hearts. LOL. Shes a real sparkler, and just goes for it. I'm delighted you think so, too. Rosie will meet Francis in the next part. I don't think you know about him. He is an eighteen month old albino child with very red eyes, and his mother is Gwendolyn who died. Back in 1846 people were nervous of the unknown and Sir John believes the child is the devils spawn, which of course he's not, and wants to get rid of him. Now we will see how Rosie reacts. Thank you, my friend! :) Sandra xxx

Good for Rosie. She will tell them what-for! I was sure hoping we would get to the part where she and Joe get a good look at Francis. If the child is sleeping they will see him as a beautiful child in need of help and then it won't be so bad when he opens his eyes. First impressions rule you know. I am sure it will all work out. I am concerned for his nurse as well. We know she has loved him since he was born. Anxious to know what will happen. Hurry with the nest chapter. Nancy

You will find out next time, Nancy. I'm working on it now. I think you'll like it. It's funny, but the followers of my story, both this one and the first one, have really taken to the characters of Mildred and Rosie. Mildred had such a lot of fans in the first one, and they still love her in this one. Now Rosie has charmed everyone as well. I'll have to think up a come up with another one for the third and possibly the final book in this trilogy. Thank you, my friend, for your lovely review, I'm really pleased you are into it. Big hugs, dear friend :)) Sandra xxx

Hello, Sandra, :)

Good chapter. Your story is unique and very good. I wish you all the luck in publishing.

Right now my kitten is looking to run on the computer. I sprayed him with water, but he likes it. :P

Take care,
Nome

Rosie surprises all by fearlessly facing up to Sir John, even he was impressed by her spunk, so is Lady Gwendolyn, and is convinced she will look after her little boy, but of course they are worried for Meg. There's no doubt about it Sandra, you're an awesome novel writer, well done, blessings, Roy
Typo : if she takes in (Frances) Francis.

I think Francis couldn't be in safer hands too. I love Rosie and her honest direct way - always typical of those not "of society".

It was so much fun being invisible at times. ~ I can imagine; how often have I wished to be invisible to eavesdrop, or to have the earth swallow me and my embarrassment.

that's what he called me." (insert line break here)
I'd just completed what she'd asked, when Joe

Good for Rosie. Now to see how she reacts when she goes through that door. Francis will truly be in good hands, and I don't see how Sir John can refuse to let that happen.

Another outstanding chapter. It just gets better and better. I see you're way ahead for story of the month. Whoo-hoo!!!!
