Now it would have been much too easy if Sir John had agreed right off the bat, wouldn't it? lol

The following morning - this paragraph appears to be in a different font size...

Nice detailing of Rosie's fascination and amazement in the house. it really also helps to define the class differences.

Thank you so much for another lovely review, Gareth, I really appreciate it. I had to let Sir John have some sort of a reason to dismiss the plan, lol, there would have been no fun otherwise! :))

I don't know what happened to the font size, but I've put it right now. It's either that, or I have loads of weird symbols in the middle of my lines! Thanks for letting me know, my friend. Big hugs. Sandra xxx

I was sitting on the edge of my seat during the entire read. I really like the author's writing and will be coming back to read more. The story was very well written with lots of imagery and emotions.

Well, dear lord I hope it all goes well for Joe and Rosie.

I had to laugh at Veronica's Jean-Claud Van Damme with the goons! How I wished I could actually have been there in person.

Another excellent chapter, fast paced and well written. And of course the cliffhanger one more time...

Those cliff hangers really aren't planned, but they do come at an appropriate time! lol. Thank you so much, Aki, for your lovely review. What film was that in with Jean-Claud? I thought I'd seen all his films. Can you remember the title? Huge hugs, my friend. :) sandra xxx

I am just starting to get used to the dialect. I like the story and look forward to future chapters. My what a mess has come about with Sir John. I like the part where they are throwing stuff at the goons. Another good chapter. Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much, Swanpfox, for another lovely review. I'm so pleased you have managed to get used to the dialect, I appreciate it must be difficult coming in this far into the story. It's really good of you to join me. Big hugs, Sandra. xxx

I am hoping Sir John comes to his senses now. He needs to understand this is the way it's going to be and nobody is going to let him make the decision. I am still enjoying reading this story. This is a good post.

What an exciting chapter to read, Sandra. It certainly had a lot of activity in Sir John's office. Poor Rosie was firstly made to sit outside the office and wait, then she witnessed the two goons depart with their unladylike language. I eagerly await the next chapter where I am sure Sir John will think differently about Joe's proposal. Very much enjoyed, well done and thank you for sharing.

An 'AWESOME PRESENTATION', Sandra! Your penning of 'Rosie Meets Sir John', is like a magnet, "It pulled me in at the start, and held my attention until the end!" I only took time out--"For breathing!" Having said that, "Congratulations on your published book 'This Time--That Time', and holding the prestigious honor of #3 Novelist on Fan Story." A 'SALUTE', my beautiful friend! I have asked God to grant me--"A 72-hour day, so I can read more of your commendable work." Hey! Keep plenty of ink in the inkwell, and your quill a 'leaving your tracks! Best wishes and God bless.

LOL! You are sooooo funny, Linda, and I love it. I will never look at a man's beard again without wondering if he has soup in it!! LOL!!! Thank you, dear friend for another of your fun reviews. Biggest hugs and love you loads, too. :) Sandra xxx

Ian is doing okay, they are a bit happier with his stump, the infection is getting better, thank goodness. I think he is just accepting things as and when they happen. Everything else is hanging at the moment, but the doctors won't say that anything is cured, just stable. We can live with that. How's your mum now. I find myself thinking of her a lot, as she is going through what my mother did. At least she has a loving family. I can't describe how much I miss mine. There you go, we all have to face it sometime in our life. Not nice, though. xxxxx

Oh, Linda, I am so sorry. She is very low at the moment so everything hits twice as hard as normal. I will keep her in my prayers. Please let me know if there is some improvement. I remember my mum telling me she never stopped worrying about me even when I was grown-up. But suddenly, the roles are reversed and we find ourselves worrying about them. I'm rooting for her, my friend. xxxx

she has lost the will to live...she wants to be with my father...truly it is in God's hands...she is healthy in some ways...but not in others...88 is getting up there...sigh...but the women in our family seem to have long life lines...well into the 90's...I will let you know...love you so...Linda xxoo

That is why I've been worried about your mother. My mum died inside the day my dad did. In her heart, she couldn't go on without him. She stayed three more years, but didn't do anything to try and move on. 64 years married and then he was gone. It broke her heart. I feel so sad for you, and so very sad for your mom. I have to believe my mum and dad will be there waiting for me. At my age, it won't be too many years. I'll get to meet you there too!! I'll be waiting for you, I wasn't suggesting you'd get there before me!! LOL. xxx

64 tears Sandra, a lifetime together...you become the same person...I don't think mom will make 3 years...she's having mini strokes...and the last one was worse than that...it will be wonderful to meet you...and I know Sandra we are going to see all our loved ones again...just from the miracles of my dad...but we both have years ahead of us...hummmmm...LOL...yes we do...I'll let you know...I am so sorry about your mom and dad...but they are together...sigh...love you so...xxoo

Hi Sandra, they got a right scare didn't they? What a wonderful chapter to your book. I do hope Joe will get his way with Sir John. I have a good feeling about it, though. Rosie, I'm sure will come up trump. I can't wait to be reading on. A big hug from a much milder Spain. Ulla xxxx

Thank you so very much for the lovely 6 stars, my dear friend and wonderful review. I think Sir John has more shocks in store!!! I'm glad you are getting some milder weather at last, it's a beautiful, sunny day here, too. I'm hoping it will stay this way for a few days so I can do some work in the garden. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I'm not despairing yet. He'll come around. Out of fear, if nothing else. I think Joe will be able to convince him this plan is good. I hope Rosie's on board with it after she meets Francis.

Terrific chapter.
