Hello SUGARRAY77: Last time I checked with God, He told me that He's love. That I believe.
Which means to me, that love is older than people. So compared to love all people are young. Since God created trees, and trees are wood, compared to God wood is young. Therefore it's "young Granny," rocking in that young rocking chair, holding hands with her young beau. Granny means that our young lady is somebody's mom. Evidently her beau did steal a kiss, and obviously she did let him. I don't believe that the pelican, no, I mean...the stork had anything to do with it. But somebody had kids. I do believe that somebody was in love. And age didn't have anything to do with it. Granny loved her beau. Her beau loved Granny. And I love your ditty here. Thank you for sharing, SUGARRAY77. Such a sweet little portrait. You start with a sound and give us a picture of a dear little grandmother on her rocker. And then we slip into her dreams and we see her as the young woman she was.

You set the scene with good descriptions and a neat picture of the old wooden swing with cushions for two, to accompany it--leaving granny to the imagination--all in 50 words. well done.
