Well....ouch! Not a Kitts fun for the snails eh? I wish they could be spared their fate...and escape slyly from the plate...I never had a snail friend...but this seems an untimely end!

Thanks, Karenina, for the nice review. I?m sure some try to run away, but, you know, kinda slowly.

Snails huh, you seem to like them, and why not? I do too as living creatures they are, in spite being rather yucky, like to eat them in a nice French restaurant, smiling at you. And think I will stop by a place to have some real soon... Fun poem and yet poor things, do you not think so?

Yes, many could survive longer if it was not for us and yet it is a jungle for all... take care.

Hi Bill. As much as I am not a fan of snails and they freak me out in the garden, you have a clever write. Factory farming is horrific. Farm animals never have a nice day.
That's why I'm vegetarian. Marilyn

Yes, that's true. The theory is that plants also feel pain.

Don't you think you've "milked" this snail thing until it's dry? Unfortunately, this sounds quite a bit like the fate of dairy cows that find themselves in a large herd. If they fail to produce, they'll end up as hamburger. I doubt you'd get very much from a snail. Clever use of rhyme. judi

I do ten pieces on each animal. Most are poems, but I?ve also written short stories on the animal of the moment. I have two left for the sluggish mollusk (Ooh, poetic).

Sluggish mollusk. That sounds like a pun. judi

Is there such a thing as a snail farm? I support many people east them. This is a brutal write of what happens to these poor creatures, glad I am a vegetarian, great rhymes that packed a punch here! Love Dolly x

I suppose there may be organized growths and harvesting of snails, but this is total fiction here. Don't go to the market for snail milk.

This is a very cute poem about snail farming. You used very good descriptive words and very cute imagery from the art work. I enjoyed reading and reviewing it. Blessings, Teri

LOL. I can't imagine milking a snail. I like the idea of catching the milk in a thimble.

Snail drivers indeed. Can I get a job doing that?

You have to bring your own snail prod.

So that is where it comes from. I always wondered why it tasted the way it does and why after drinking a full glass, My movements seemed to slow down. This answers a lot of questions.

Snail milk needs a shot of rum.
reply by nomi338 on 05-Apr-2018
How about a large shot of rum, maybe even the whole bottle.

I found this to be a very cleverly written and delightful visitation to the world of snail farming ...which I never imagined might be so delightful as presented here! I cannot suggest anything to improve this lovely work and thank this author for such a delightful, enlightenment! HIS GRAYNESS: Vance
