We have the movie of "Old Yeller" and I do relate to the era you speak of TV-wise, I have all the MASH series, I make my wife suffer every few years and go through them again. I don't mind Frank Burns and Henry Blake, but Louise prefers from Colonel Potter onwards.I forget your vintage I think we might be a similar age. Michael Cahill is a year older than me. This was a great chapter and I am thrilled this story...your story...has returned. Tom said I have a year left on FS.
Suggestion for following...That is one thing time can never [mar](erase or wipe away).

I like any post with a dog. Somehow, when a dog is in the story, he is usually a prominent character. Otherwise, why would he be in the story. He is the star of your story. Well written. Easy to read. Thank you for sharing

I think most of us who were around at the time your biography was set, would remember those well known country music characters that you mention. Getting to know a dog and your close confidante who thinks you are his pup, sounds familiar. We've owned similar animals. I like the way you recall these days, looking through a very interesting lens. Well done Brett, and attractive style and way of looking at the world. Good job, blessings, Roy
