Parts of this give me goose-bumps. I like how you worked the historical aspect into the story and we follow the progression of the passing along beliefs and abilities to sense messages of consolation. This follows in a very orderly pattern. Great work.

I enjoyed your stories my friend. I have some sort of connection with the spiritual world. Sometimes I welcome it and sometimes not. One thing I know for sure there is a Dove that has been coming to me every morning (except in winter)ever since my husband died. I have warning dreams that I pray to be relieved of. They are never accurate and make me depressed. I believe. Well done. Nancy

Thank you so much for sharing your stories from Grammy. I believe there are a lot of people who can feel the spirits around them when they are children but because they do not listen and continue to search as they grow, the talent leaves them.
My grandmother encouraged my imagination and my abilities. My children and I live thousands of miles apart and yet we know when we are needed by the others. I knew before I answered the phone many times when someone died or was injured. You can't talk too much about it because too many people won't believe you.
So, I believe every word in your story is true. I'd like to think your Grammy and my Grandmother are in Heaven together. (Because in my way of thinking, like-minded people are together in Paradise.)

Thank you for your belief. I feel so blessed to know that I have many loved ones waiting to show me around, so to speak. My brother has that ability to sense when someone needs him. Me... something makes me avoid hearing the news. But I'm a heck of a healer (especially with headaches) and that's good for me. Thanks again!

Oh, Beck, that was an amazing story, and I believe every word. After my father died, my mother was devastated and just seemed to give up. They were married 64 years. While my mother sitting watching the television, the radio came on. She assumed she's inadvertently knocked something ... the radio was next to her ... and turned it off. It happened again, and now my mother knew it had nothing to do with her. She phoned me to tell me Dad was with her and how she knew. I was really pleased for her, it gave her comfort and that was the main thing. I didn't believe what Mum did. Until three years later, after she died. My car was parked up, switched off, keys out and locked. Half and hour later my neighbour knocked the door to tell me I'd left the car radio on. I couldn't understand how that could have happened but went and unlocked the car and turned it off. This happened a few times until I twigged. It was my mum telling me she was with Dad. It never happened after that. She knew I'd got the message. I wish I could see them both again, though. Your story really made me happy, and I look forward to reading loads more of your stories. Thank you so much. I wish everyone could realize our loved ones are just a breath away. I'm glad you and your mom were able to get messages from beyond. (hug) for all of us who miss someone and a smile to those who see the signs that they didn't go too far!
