You did a great job writing with this form. A Pantoum is a new one for me and I certainly appreciated your author's notes. The poem itself is very good, but the Pantoum form seems difficult, but you made it easy. Well done.

The form highlights the repeats too much for my liking, and hard to blend in creating imagery that does not stop start, yet, that is the beauty of forms, and you wrote your theme to perfection. Sometimes forms are created with overdue difficulty, and may be complex, but the essence is the smoothness of the narrative and imagery it creates without drawing attention to the form itself.
A fine job, yet, you can tell, not my favourite form, when it comes down to imagery.
Good write...just a personal preference aired...and for one who is favourite to the form, this is a top write.
Bravo.

I'll let you in on a little secret: it's not my favorite form, either!
But I so love to experiment with different forms.
For me, it's like preparing a wonderful dinner. It's not enough that I have all the food thought out - right down to the dessert; I need to consider the table linens and flowers as well! :) (And NO PAPER PLATES!) :)
Tetractys is still my all time favorite. And a cleave poem - well...that is the most challenging for me, but it's thrilling if I can pull it off!

I will never be at home with rhymed verses for I don't like memorizing rules that will get into the flow of my thoughts. I commend you for being able to come up with such a beautiful metered poem without being distracted by the restrictions of the rhyming schemes. Thanks for sharing.
