I love the direction your story is headed. You are consistent with the lovely dialect and have captured that moment when the women praise Ann's picture. "her face radiant with delight. " I can see that plain as day.
Glad to have a good read! Thanks.

That is so nice of you, Beck, to come and read my story. The dialect is easy for me as my friend is just like Mildred, in all ways. Thank you, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

It sounded like the guy with the red eyes is a space alien. Then, I read your notes and know he is an albino. Yes, they have red eyes. It is well written and entertaining. The main character is well developed in this episode. I look forward to the next chapter. Thank you for sharing

LOL, space alien! He's an 18 month old child! His father's red eyes changed over time to ice blue, and there is every chance young Francis' eyes will change, too. I researched this and found that happens to many albinos. Thank you so much Pam, for your continued support and lovely review. Big hugs. Sandra xx

Hello Sandra, you write well, especially your dialogue, you write how people speak, very realistic and not stilted. You build the tension and have your readers wondering what will happen. Your author notes help, also. I have no suggestions for improvement. Thanks, Ana.

wonderful chapter, as usual. Got the cast off my arm today but now I'm in a brace. Still painful to type but I'm more flexible. After a week, I can take the brace off for short periods while in the house. Step by step.

I bet you are over the moon! It's been a long time in a cast. It takes ages for breaks to heal, but you're nearly there. Thank you, my friend, for reading and reviewing, I know it's been hard for you. Big hugs. Sandra xxx

It seems you have thing for family values. For, it
remains the epicenter of your writing. Nevertheless,
the way you write a story, tells your no novice. And
I like that. Nice job. Keep writing. And stay connected.

Hi, Titan, welcome to Fanstory! Thank you for jumping into my story and giving it a nice review. I really appreciate that. I have put two links to the past parts to make it easy to understand, and a synopsis of the published book. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun on here! Thanks again! :) Sandra xxx

Hi, Sandra;
And so, armed with the knowledge about the sunglasses, Veronica returns to the world where she and her knowledge are needed. I loved how you made her anxious and 'waiting' to be taken back. I imagine it would be harrowing not knowing when or if.

Another well-written chapter,

~patty~

Hello, Sandra, :)

This is a very good chapter. You are having fun writing this.

I didn't know they had sunglasses back then -- cool fact.

Have a great week!

Yes, common sense can go a very long way, and I agree that Veronica and Mildred make the perfect team.

"Yer goin' t' wear a hole through the wood in a minute," - another thing I love about Mildred; she can come up with imageries to make me curl up with laughter.

At any rate, it looks like a variety of solutions have been found, including how to hide Francis' eyes.

Thoroughly enjoyed the read once again, Sandra.

Thank you so much, Aki, for your lovely review. I have fun with Mildred's character because she very much like a friend of mine in the things she comes out with. I'm glad everyone has taken to her. Big hugs, dear friend. xx Sandra

You always leave me hanging with a bad feeling! Shame, shame, Miss Sandra! You're supposed to leave Sue happy.... I thought we were straight on this!!

So, why does he look so glum? Let me guess... keep reading!

I'm surprised to read about sunglasses back then. Wouldn't they look odd on a small child? I mean, if they weren't part of the general population's dress code, wouldn't it look odd to see a child in them?

Unless they would explain it away as he was recovering from an eye injury or something.

Okay, I'll wait and see. :-)

Joe doesn't know what Veronica has in mind yet. She's only just gone back so he's still very nervous. I was very surprised to learn glasses with coloured lenses had been around for centuries, in fact the Chinese, Romans and Egyptians had them long before the birth of Christ. More people wore them in the 1800s than we realised, yet, if we think about it, a lot of Westerns and historical dramas saw people wearing them. So, I don't think Francis would have a big problem when he's a bit older, but yes, a reason must be found for now. Thank you so much, my dear friend. for your lovely, review, and all those lovely stars!! Big hugs my friend. xxxx Sandra x

I think the reason I enjoy this story so much is the fact that the time traveler is a woman with a conscious like Veronica Russell.
Of course, I admire James as well. It can't be easy on him either.
Wonderful pace in this chapter.
very engaging.

Hi Michael! Thank you so much, my friend, for the lovely review and golden stars! No, I think he had a bit of a problem with it, but is getting used to his wife running off with Joe now! LOL. Thank you for taking the time off your editing to come and review mine. I do so appreciate that. Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xx
