Hi Pam, Ha Ha This made me laugh great last line Rossters are so noisy and vicious they run at you and I have been at the mercy of a nasty Rooster named Russel he kept everyone at bay. Great rhyme and meter I enjoyed this read and smiled at my memories of Russel Cheers Christine

Fun and whimsical poem. My grandmother had two roosters -- Heimy and Nutcracker. Nutcracker always woke first and then woke everyone. He also fought with Heimy one too many times. My grandmother then invited him to Sunday dinner--as the main course. Your poem brought a smile and pleasant memories.

Very cute and entertaining,,,,.... lol. Poor Big Blue... but some animals and birds can be annoying. On the farm there is a good chance that one will end up on the dinner table. Very nicely written, I enjoyed this!
