Some excellent working out of problem solving, concerning the borrowing of money by Joe, and the adoption by Joe and Rosie of the adoption of little Francis. The more they think on these things, the more obstacles keep cropping up, like the colour of Francis' eyes, James promises to do research. What about dark glasses? Another invention by Joe. You and I could make a fortune Sandra, what about song hits? Well done, blessings, Roy

I had to laugh when I read this, Roy. I was going to have Joe invent some sort of dark glasses but first I checked on Google when the first sun glasses were invented. It goes back hundreds of years. There are some pictures of the type of sun glasses that could be bought in the 1800s. Amazing really. The reason for the sun glasses in our recent history, (last 300 years) was for judges to wear so the defendant could read his eyes before he announced the verdict. Really interesting. I'll try to think up something else for us to make our fortune, my friend, LOL!! Thank you so much for your lovely review, and the giggle! Big hugs dear friend. Sandra xxx

I love the way you use dialect with your characters speech and you do it so well. Your characters conversations are vibrant and move the story forward, the reader wanting to know more. I didn't notice anything but this, I've copied it below, I think it just needs a line break.

Sir John's thugs.
"Bristol!"

Thanks for the story, I will be interested to see where it goes from here, and I've always been fascinated by the idea of time travel, Ana.

Thank you so much, Ana, for your lovely review. I've added the space now. I think it changed when I copied and pasted it over from my MS Word doc. It's so nice to have to come and read my story. I've put a synopsis link in my author's notes if they will help. :) Sandra xxx
