What a great way to eradicate those blues! I am old, but I must admit a good tune still gets me swaying and smiling. I like your easy-flowing cadence and your ABAB rhyme scheme.

I most definitely agree. I have always said for me the best stress reliever is dancing. When my grandkids are here, I have been known to turn it up and yell "dance party!" I used to go out dancing, but now it is just me in my kitchen, but it sure does brighten my mood.
Your rhymes flow nicely and you found the perfect picture to accompany your work. Good Job! I love the chair dancing in assisted living places. Many of those probably loved dancing when they were able and this I'm sure brightens their mood and brings back memories too!

Thank you for such a lovely review, Susan. You mentioned dancing with your grandkids. Last week my four-year-old grandson was here, and we put on Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling." Our little Jack and I were all over the place dancing. For his age, he has some great dance moves!

Hey! We love to dance to that one! Also when the song Uptown Funk came out, my youngest grandson who was about 6 at the time used to call that "His Jam!" and we still dance to it! Those are the memories they will talk about years from now Connie! Keep dancin my friend :)
