In reading this, I knew it wasn't about YOU before the notes confirmed that. People like you who have a purpose to focus on, and unwavering faith to provide the strength to follow through, do not waste time pondering such questions, for they are too busy implementing their dreams.

Many people who were expected to die of either disease or severe injury are known to have lived instead, through sheer will and determination. Some even have outlived the doctors who told them they had mere days remaining; and many great feats of all kinds have been accomplished by individuals who were told, "It cannot be done -- or, at least, not by YOU" (for whatever reason was given at the time).

You do capture the essence of such anguished musings in this post, though, which simply proves your compassion and wisdom. Free verse with minimal punctuation fits the theme well, and the illustration is apt. Well done.

Your posts are always interesting, Susan. I've got a lot going on right now, so I've stopped posting and had to cut back on reviewing now too. I'll still try to review the posts I consider most important, though doing so might not be right away. -- Mike

I think we've all been there even if you didn't write this about yourself. I know I've been there, I've always found God again, but I've been there. I think there are some things we're just not suppose to know.
