Hello Friend,
Your wonderful verse reminds me, once again, how very lucky my husband and I are to have lived for the past thirty years, high on a bluff, overlooking both East and West Grand Traverse Bays in northern Michigan. It also reminds me why our son and daughter and their spouses visit whenever they can. It is a place of serenity and peacefulness, and we do possess a number of "sonrocks." How very lucky we are, and how very lucky you are as well to be able to escape the frenetic world and find peace and harmony in nature's astrodome...Thank you for sharing...

It does indeed sound like you are very lucky. Your home sounds beautiful. We are lucky , too, to have "escaped" the city some 16 or 17 years ago. Thanks for the lovely review, Diane - Craig

An excellent reminder of what we do miss, in the "organized" chaos that modern life so endlessly throws at us! You've made me aware of much that I have missed, but, too, those small moments (and the real reasons for them) that I've enjoyed the most. And that you've made me envious of your outback lifestyle is no small accomplishment, either! I really enjoyed your poem, and even at this late date (I'm 76, with esophageal cancer) there are things I can still enjoy, if I have a mind to do so!

I'm terribly sorry to hear that you have cancer - a horrible thing. But I'm also heartened by your optimistic approach. I firmly believe that we should make the most of every opportunity as it comes, so yes - enjoy those things that make you feel good! Thanks so much for the kind and understanding review. Craig
