The picture selection was excellent for this very short poem that is very well written and with a lots of meaning. The reader really enjoyed the read and will be coming back to read more of the poets work.

Interesting 5-7-5 political poem...it's hard to understand how we got where we are as a country. Hatred is the new trend today. Good imagery in this poem. You followed the syllable count well. Fun pictures, too.

Um...."for they themselves painted and sold Trump as a racist monster." I'm afraid Trump did that himself. And continues to do it.
Just as he painted himself an adulterer, a flat out cheater, when he screwed around on ALL THREE of his wives. Multiple times! What must Baron think??
Just as he painted himself a serial sexual predator and said on Howard Stern's radio show and Entertainment Tonight how he grabs "them" by the pussy....how he kisses them without permission, goes into dressing rooms where girls are naked...and boasts.
Trump did this and more to himself. If you love THAT??? you have bigger issues to deal with than bad poetry.
The poem is bad, by the way. The middle line has eight syllables: dom in ates me di a head lines...
and it is not connected to the third line.

My dear friend I am a Filipina, and English is not my native language. I don't know that media has three syllables, I usually pronounced it as mid- ya. So I stand corrected, the slip will be edited accordingly later. I do respect your views and I believe my personal views on Trump deserve the same respect from you. Truth has many sides, your truth , my truth, the media's truth, the Democrat's truth, the Republican's truth , the radical Leftist's truth and the absolute truth from God. I am not even an American citizen, I am just a casual observer following the events in your country. I just can't imagine how you negatively reacted to my poem with blanket accusations that I have bigger issues to deal with than bad poetry. But I still love you as a Christian would to a fellow human being. God bless and take care. Susan

My dear friend I am not terrified of him, he brought back the name of Jesus in America and he recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, an event mentioned in the Bible. I look at him as the modern Cyrus of the Bible. If you have read the story of Cyrus, he was not also the typical example of a Christian but God used Cyrus to protect the true Jews from their oppression. You seem to have a lot of pain, my friend, who are you to judge me me that I am not a Christian just because I respect Trump. Trump does define my Christianity, it's my relationship with Jesus, which makes me a Christian. I am a legitimate US immigrant and followed strictly the law and regulations before I was granted the immigrant visa which took me two years of waiting. I did not merely jump over your border. I am barely three months here and I am not yet an American citizen but my daughter who is an oncology nurse is already an American citizen having served your country for twelve years now. Before I came here, I handled Foundation classes for college students in Oman, I am a college lecturer by the way, so I am not a burden to your country. I came here by merits. Again, God bless my poet-friend.
