How strange that your Mum thought this way and yet she dies in July. I always think it rains at funerals because I have never been to one where it hasn't rained! How strange we think sometimes. Good rhyming scheme, love Dolly x

I found this to be a very well presented work with excellent photography that established the story perfectly. The undertakers all say that February is the month for funerals. it tends to be cold and damp and one goes down followedc by all those who caught a chill standing around at the earlier funeral. Tharee has to be something in these old sayings or they would never have caught on.

I know, my mother would name all of her friends and family that died in December and she could name a bunch! There must be something to it, you're right. Thank you for your very nice review.

Thank you for your kind review. She had a good mind but at 92, she was beginning to live in her own thoughts. For her it was December.

This is very well done! The rhyming is perfect and the story told is so interesting. Death is never an easy subject but you have injected many aspects of thought towards our attitudes about death. It is simple and deep all at once. Good work!

This is a beautiful poem about death. I ended up rereading it couple of times to get its full meaning. It has good rhythm and flows very well. I especially liked the ending.

This is a very nice poem which flows easily and rhymes well. It is a good entry for thy rhyming poetry contest. I especially like the last verse equating December to death. But, this time death came in July but it was
December that came by. I am sorry for your loss. I have also lost both parents. Thank
