Hooray!! All your students did admirably! That's so good to know that they all overcame their fears and hard experiences with blood and needles and realized that they could do a great job with blood draws!
Comments:
Michelle will do her three draw first (draws)
"Yes ma-am, I can picture it in my head?" (was this meant as a question?)
I smiled every bigger at Michelle's response. (ever)
Michelle took a deep breathe and let it out. (breath)
Shall we start." (question mark instead of period)
I sort of suspected Henry that you (suspected, Henry, that)

I've had both nurses - ones who do a great job on inserting the needle and ones who definitely have not learned the proper way to do it. I'm glad the students made it through!

Thank you Mel for sticking with me. I appreciate the kind comments of your review and feel bad for your suffering at the hands of the ones that didn't learn well.

You're welcome. Between allergy shots and endo, I've been a human pincushion. Doesn't really phase me, but I do think to myself, "Oh, this one didn't learn the proper way". I always compliment the ones that do it right!

Good for you, I think it is important to acknowledge a job well done.

The only part of any "science" lesson I enjoyed were the practicals. The theory would send me to sleep quicher than a punch from Mohammed Ali. I still remember cutting up dogfish, playing around with something called a Wheatstone Bridge doing titrations. Mind you in none of those cases can I remember why. That's why I became a poet and not a nuclear scientist.
I am intrigued as to how much teacher training you have undergone as you have never mentioned any. I have a feeling you are a natural in that department.
One typo noticed:
"... as far as I am concern." Should be "concerned"

Thanks once again for reviewing, I love your comments and I am sure with your past life experience you are more than a poet. I have never had any teaching background other than in my teenage years I helped out in the sunday school nursery lol. I will fix the typo in a few minutes, thanks for catching it.

After returning to work, Mrs. Armstrong taught a bunch of young folks to give shots. I assumed the reason for her nervousness was the young folk's ambition. Teaching future Medical Assistant, Vocational, and Registered Nurses can be a little unsettling when you been out of the game for awhile.

Thank you so much for reviewing and for your kind comments. The story unfortunately was not based on teaching medical Assistants, Vocational and Registered Nurses but Medical Office Assistants and Lab Techs whose only invasive procedure is drawing blood. Just wanted to clarify. Again thanks for reviewing.

For me, the challenge was not clear, so I assumed something reasonable.

Sorry to be disappointing.

Don't worry. There are some people I never make happy. They just want a chance to make me feel awful and doubt myself. People are full of tricks. So, stay strong and keep writing those wonderful stories.
