Wow! I find it devastating that Janice would be so without hope that she would kill herself! How much would that affect her children and her husband. And then the test was wrong anyway! That's such a shocking story and I now I'm hoping that William and Randy will get different results from the other labs!

Thank you so much for reviewing and your amazing comments. I included that chapter because it definitely was of interest in the real world. Merry Christmas, Happy New Years, Season Greetings! Hugs n smiles! ⛄🎄❄

Oh, that is just so devastating! I don't think wrong diagnoses or lab mix-ups happen too often, but when they do they are awful. I can't imagine what your friend's poor family went through, and then to find out the lab was wrong.

Thank you for reviewing Mel, unfortunately bad things happen to people all the time, but the key to the frustration and turmoil is how one reacts.

Yes, they do and I suppose it's hard not to panic sometimes.

I am assuming this chapter is based on fact. That is really awful, totally negligent. I can guess where this is going now and hope we are heading for a good outcome eventually. I was going to say "a positive outcome" but felt that would not be quite the right way of saying it under the circumstances. I liked the way you handled the beginning of the second call and the daunting contrast between the two doctors contacted.

One typo noted quite early on in the first phoner call.

"Consider it down..." I think you mean "done" rather than "down".

Thank you so much for reviewing. lol, sorry I had to chuckle about the comment regarding a positive outcome. I am glad you were somewhat impressed with the phone calls. Yep you are right, will fix that in a second. Again thanks.

Fascinating. They kept using lab equipment and procedures that gave flawed results! And a woman died because of it, leaving her kids motherless. What a tragedy.

Thank you for reviewing and for your constructive comments. The sad part is that even today, third world countries get the left overs and their communities continue to suffer.
