Pons and Ned get into some of the cutest and funniest things. You always use such cute wording and cute dialogue! I enjoyed this. Blessings, Teri

Hi Bill,
I've only written one script as a writing assignment so my
expertise here is limited.
I like the concept which appears to work .
I found the dialogue for Ned distracting but that's just a personal preference.
The fomat and scene setting is well done.
:-) Shirley

You?re too kind, seken. I write these to amuse myself and sometimes get too far into the Ned character?s dialogue. If this were a more dramatic and purposeful script, I would include scene details character expressions, and blocking directions.

Oh my gosh. Ned is so special. He is special in a very special way. Not necessarily a good special way, but definitely special just the same. What I find even more incredible, is the mind that created Ned and his unbelievable shenanigans. Any idea who I might be thinking of?

No wonder he had such a dream. I like the Maybe Dick, and Jonah and Noah appearing. At least, Ned had sense enough to bring Pons into his dream, or no telling where it might have ended.

His diet certainly needs looking into. Yuck!

Hello, :)
Good writing; I didn't find any SPAGS, but it is difficult to spot them when there is so much dialogue in accents. I like that it is in play format.
Have a good weekend.

LOL! That was so funny, Tom. You have the dialect off to a 'T' I love dialect, it adds flavour and colour to the story. A year old egg? And a sandwich made ... that would be enough to finish anyone off. Well done, that was a fun read. :) Sandra xx

Lol!! I think this is my favorite of the Ned and Pons scripts! I was thinking, too, now how is it that Ned can dream all those corrections that Pons does in real life? But maybe in his subconscious, he's really brighter than he lets on especially under the influence of old tuna.

We'll probably find out in the end that there is only one person with two or more personalities. Who knows?

Ha, this is hilarious, Bill. I especially like Maybe Dick. That was a good story and love pons and ned get mixed up which is who tween Jonah and Noah. Kinda reminds me of Beckett's Endgame. Then you had to go and say inside a chicken and my claustrophobia stood at attention. YIKES.

Great job with this script!

Pons: But Noah wasn't eaten by a big fish.
Noah: Yes I was.
_________

Ned: We mighta ended up inside a dang chicken.

LOL! Lovvvve it! My favorite guys. Thank you. We need more of Ned and Pons. What kind of name is Pons anyway. Is it a real name or made up?

Did you begin with the picture. If not, where do you get your inspiration?

I wanted Ned to be a nitwit and his cousin to be smarter so I thought that Pons, a part of the brain, would be original. Not to be confused with the character Ponzie, from Happy Days, who was a goof.
The pons is the part of the brain stem that links the medulla oblongata and the thalamus. The Pons serves as a message station between several areas of the brain. It helps relay messages from the cortex and the cerebellum. Without the pons, the brain would not be able to function because messages would not be able to be transmitted. wikipedia

I was doing whales and thought I'd throw the lads in there. I found the picture on Google a week or so ago while gathering inspirational images for whales.

Thanks for giving this a look, Phyllis. Bill
