Very nice work with the rhyming. Very vivid with the picture of the man you love. Showing love and very sincerely written. Word choices are great and the picture of Sam Eliot is also a nice touch. Thank you , Sherman, for your review. No I didn't draw Sam. I paint a little in oils and acrylics but can't draw a stick. 😂

I live in Texas though was raised in Georgia, - never dated a cowboy - however, I'm with you, they are manly, polite, down to earth people. Lucky you!

What a lovely tribute to your husband. I like your honesty. I think that most women like men in boots and hats. They look for men stronger than themselves. To me, that is truth, even if women deny it. I want to be strong, but I like my partner to be strong as well. Nice job on your poem.

Can almost be a country song... Enjoyed it and grasp I like cowboys too. And often find myself returning to the old far west especially Arizona, where in a certain bar they are there with cowboy hats. And feel a little award as not one of them but it a good feeling as the music plays and I sit and study their ways. No doubt your cowboy is grand.

I loved be a man who knows what he is doing, and while I can take care of myself, it is nice to depend on a man who wants to take care of me, and is capable of doing so. The second part of your poem is so nice, and a wonderful feeling. I also love the artwork you chose.
