What you've penned you can say with great assurance. It has been gobbled up from the first movie to the last. My favorite was Movie #2 with DeNiro. In retrospect I wonder why we have a society that loves the blood and gore galore?

An exceptional presentation.

Well done! I doubt I would like the "blood and gore galore" if watching the movie, but I did like your wording in this movie review and admired the creativity you showed. You came up with a very vivid description using just a few words. Excellent indeed. MM

Nice simple review about the movie and the violence of the mob. The blood and gore doesn't appeal to me. I am one of the few of my age group who hasn't ever seen it. I saw the commercial with the horse's head in the bed and said that is not for me.

Hope it did well in the prompt.

Keep writing

Joan

It certainly is a classic. I think all my perceptions of the mafia have been based on it! A while since I last saw the film, but it is one that repays more than one viewing. A good choice for the contest!

I made a short trip to San Francisco and fell way behind, but was pleased to find this recent post of yours as I try to catch up. What a clever concept to use the haiku form to create a movie review! Your use of alliteration added to the drama. I hope the entry did well in the contest- Joan

This, Bob, made me smile. Starting small with a Haiku Movie Review is also a nice way to begin your FanStory return. Using G alliteration, you summarized the mass appeal of these bloody films.

Thank you for sharing. I wish you contest success, and welcome back!

This haiku movie review, The Godfather, uses a five-seven-five format to both make a play on words, masses, funny, and a rhyning exit. Still get the creeps seeing that movie.

Good job doing a movie review in such a brief five-seven-five work. I can sense your enthusiasm in your words and your encouragement for others to watch. Good luck in the contest.

You picked a great movie. Blood and guts galore is right.. I guess that's why it did appeal to the masses, huh? Great job with this haiku. Good luck in the contest.
