Roy,
In reference to your author notes--are you saying that about FS?
I enjoyed your poem. You are right. God sees us as special because we are His children. Your poem expresses that well. Good job with the rhymes & awesome message. Please know that I care about your feelings & hate that some were awful to you. Take care. Jan

Roy, this is another lovely rhyming poem about Christ's love and his solution for those in any kind of dark place in their lives. You must have quite a collection by now - i am sure they would be publishable and find a ready market.

Like you I also seek refuge in the words of God, when I am down and I'm having a tough day. Our creator, is a tested sanctuary for mankind and we are nothing without Him. Thanks again for sharing an inspiring poem. God bless.

It's a wonderful peaceful feeling to have faith, and be able to overcome obstacles that might stand in your way. Your lovely, well written rhyming poem describes this feeling well. The image you paired it with is perfect. I wish that everyone could find peace in faith,Thanks for sharing this thoughtful poem.

The bible speaks of man looking at the outer appreciate but God looks at the heart. All things are naked and open before Him. I'm so glad that he's God and not me. I love the flow and all the elements of this. Well done.

These are great words in a great context. We believe that we are better than the others and that we have the right to judge and cast the first stone. This is where we went wrong. Purdue and ignorance know no bounds in this world. If we can but cut down a little, there will be enough peace for all of us to be happy in.

Cheers, Roy;
-well I hope you find peace and gentle solitude in the time of your trials and tribulations.
-You have many lines in his it is so profound that it sets one-off to a spiritual and philosophical quest, "So I can stand those mocking taunts, I'll not be moved by what pride flaunts." How many times have everyone of us and subject to others taunting just for the sake of amusement when the amusement was all their's. I used to wish harm on them But later in life I come to realize that life is too short and hatred adds up over time. And when it adds up it can take the place of love and when Love dims it opens up your life to let darkness in.
-Thanks for sharing this, Roy, is again you opened up my heart and mind to my past and my future. Take care and have a good one especially with all those that love you dearly.

It's how I mull through things Alex, my way of figuring it out, I always assume God is right, and I need to listen, as we all do, and certainly as you do, dear friend Alex, bless you for your faithful support, thank you...Roy

I hear you Roy. I know I can talk over any problem with the Lord and he will give me an answer. He somehow makes things clear when I tell him all about it. He is my dearest friend.
I would be lost without him. Thanks. Nancy

Which one of you can love his foe?
Not me. I'm not God. I'm human, with defense mechanisms built in, as He made me. To "love" a foe means to be weak and off guard, and we would not be that way with Satan, right? He's the biggest foe of all.
Should we love evil we see in people? Sorry, but loving one's enemies is too much for me. I'll give anyone a chance, but when I see Islamic terrorists cutting the heads off children only because they are Christians, I cannot "love" them. I do hate them. And if it were in my power, I would destroy them.
Does this make me sinful in God's eyes? I would think our govt's allowing such horrific acts to exist in the world and looking the other way is the real sin.

Remember He died for the sins of the world, including all the people we think are not worthy, nor are we Phyllis, we think in degree, not so God. "For all have sinned...Romans 3:23. Do you really want a righteous judge or be judged by your neighbour? That's how I know I'm loved...for me, not my acts. What do you want Phyllis? Thanks for the great review. Blessings, Roy

If that is true, a mass murderer can go to Heaven!

Yep, it always depends on repentance, grace and faith, not on deeds. Jesus died for ALL wrong.King David was an adulterer, murderer and practised a little terrorism,
